We will be using Snapshot for voting within our community. Snapshot is a decentralized voting platform where communities can create proposals and have their members vote using tokens they hold. Votes are off-chain (stored on IPFS), which means they’re free (no gas fees), but still verifiable and secure. After our 60-day token sale period, this will be set up to vote on key issues related to future development and how we manage the growth and sustainability of the T8020 Community. Your vote will be your power within the Community.

For those who want to have their name known in the T8020 space, we will have a form that gives you the right to publicize that you are a token holder. Many of you may wish to remain anonymous, and we honor that requirement. If you want to become a community leader, you will likely want to be known within the T8020 space, and we applaud you for taking an active part in growing with us. People who care about the future of their country and cities, people like real estate agents, insurance agents, those who have to establish a true community-positive identity, will likely want to be known. And, of course, politicians running for office and many others will want to be identified.

Voting will be available after the intial token startup period, which will likely last for 60 days.

  • Custom strategies will let us choose how voting power is determined (e.g., 1 token = 1 vote, NFTs = votes, staked tokens only, etc.). Certain items, the founders will have no voting access to, only major issues. We want new token holders to drive the future.
